We currently provide the following services

Face-to-face consultations at my practice at home, Internet Consultations as well as home based consultations where I visit you!

Most of our services provided can be covered by your medical aid. We ask medical aid rates!

  • Individual Consultations

I have a special interest in Paediatrics and Maternity and also consult individual adult clients with specific nutrition-related problems/diseases.

I consult any of the following cases:

Healthy Nutrition for every life stage e.g. breastfeeding/bottle feeding, introducing solids, toddler feeding, teenage years, early adulthood etc.

Overweight and underweight children, Food allergy/intolerance, Diabetes, ADHD and Autistic spectrum disorders, Neurological disabilities, Feeding difficulties and finicky eating, Coeliac disease, Gastroenterology such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or surgery in the GI tract, Cystic fibrosis, Cardiac disorders, Oncology,  Premature babies, Liver and pancreas disorders, Renal disorders, HIV, Children with inborn errors of metabolism e.g. Phenylketonuria, Children who require tube feeding both at home and in hospital, 

Maternal diet, Gestational diabetes, Excess or inadequate weight gain during pregnancy, High cholesterol/blood pressure, Breastfeeding, Constipation, Pregnancy related symptoms e.g. nausea, heartburn, Micro-nutrient deficiencies or at risk of these e.g. Iron, Calcium, Vitamin D etc.

General weight reduction, Diabetes, Hypercholesterolemia, Hypertension, Irritable Bowel Syndrome. 

I also now do Vitality assessments! 

  •  Programmes 

We run a few programmes:

- The Healthy Lifestyle Programme for Adults

- The Healthy Body Programme for Primary school aged children 

Both include an individual pre-assessment, post-evaluation session as well as 6 x 2 hour interactive group sessions.

Sessions include a variety of nutrition related topics e.g. reading food labels, in depth discussions on food groups, portion sizes and many more.

It also involves 30 – 45 minutes of physical activity.
